Mountaineering Ireland is the representative body for walkers and climbers in Ireland. It is recognised as the National Governing Body for mountaineering, hillwalking, rambling and climbing by both the Irish Sports Council and Sport Northern Ireland.
Sulware sat down with Mountaineering Ireland back in 2012 and worked with them on their rather complex requirement set. After a number of months analysis, development and testing, www.mountaineering.ie was launched which allowed for the organisation to manage their ever growing 20,000 strong member accounts, including signups, edits and renewals, along with a fully functional online store and full content management via Sulware CMS and Sulware Store.
The site also integrates fully with various other external organisations such as Sports Ireland and Mountain Training UK.
Mountaineering Ireland had a hugely positive experience working with Sulware. The attention to detail and creativity of the Sulware team really helped to deliver both a website and, even more importantly, an online membership management system.
